I went bowling with my friends and I put on those rental shoes and put aside my shoes. When we were done I couldn't find one of my shoes. I saw some guy running away with it in his hands. I ran after but I lost him and later when we were in the parking lot I saw him driving away in a pickup truck filled with shoes. Me and my friends ran after him. I had to run without a shoe through the snow. It was really cold and I tripped due to the fact I was unbalanced by only wearing one shoe. One of my friends helped me up and we started running again. Soon only one of my friends was close behind the car and they soon came out of sight. My friends grabbed four bikes that were locked up to a bike rack. One of them cut the lock off and we rode off in the direction we thought the pick up truck had gone. We must have been riding for about forty five minutes and we were uncertain whether we had gone the right way. We were about to turn back when we found my friend sprawled on the ground and both his shoes were missing. The pick up truck was no where in sight. Me and two of my friends rode on and the other one stayed behind with my friend waiting for our parents to pick us up. We saw the pick up truck parked and the guy must have seen us because he soon drove away. We rode after him as fast as we could. One of my friends caught up to him and jumped on the back. The guy braked and my friend lost balance and fell off. He put the car into reverse and nearly ran me over. He made a u-turn and drove away. We saw him crash into a gas station and we heard an explosion. It started raining shoes and all the children whose shoes had been stolen came up and there shining faces gleamed as they retrieved their shoes. I caught mine and my parents came to pick us up. All was well in the world again thanks to DragonBallDavid.
